Description: This position is for a co-lead Montessori primary teacher will start from 8:15-3:30 and the number of days between M-Th depends on enrollment. This position continues in the 2025-2026 school year from 8:15-3:30 M-F. The candidate will be working in our preschool room during the summer and this position will continue into the fall. Note, there is a possibility of starting in the summer or waiting and starting in the 2025-2026 school year.

Qualifications: The candidate must either be AMI or AMS trained and also must be Early Childhood Teacher Qualified. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching in a Montessori primary classroom. This candidate should have substantial classroom management experience and feel comfortable managing a classroom as well as very comfortable giving and preparing the Montessori lessons and following the education needs of all the children and preparing the classroom. The candidate will work well on a team.

Description of Community: Montessori Academy is a small two classroom school in Lafayette. We have one toddler classroom and one preschool classroom.
