This 37-hour online course is open to administrators, assistants, office personnel, parents, and anyone interested in knowing more about the Montessori approach or training for children ages 2 1⁄2 through 6 years.

Important detail
This course is a required prerequisite for Infant & Toddler and Elementary students who do NOT hold an AMS, AMI or MACTE recognized Montessori Early Childhood credential.
Infant & Toddler and Elementary applicants will be automatically invoiced for the Overview Course upon enrollment unless you notify us that you have already met this prerequisite.

Course Audits
You are welcome to audit most courses at MECR during the summer cohort. Auditing a course allows a student to take a class without the benefit of credit for a course. A student who audits a course does so for the purposes of self-enrichment and academic exploration and is not responsible for assignments.
